Careers associated with the Interior Design major are in Residential design, Commercial design, Hospitality design, Healthcare design, Retail design, Institutional design, and many other specialized fields.

The Interior Design program is recognized as one of the top interior design programs in the U.S. and North America, and we are fully accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA).

Internship experiences are available coast-to-coast with many of the major interior design and architecture firms, and students in interior design and architecture share many of the same courses and opportunities for extra-curricular activities, providing a broad exposure to a related field.

Facilities

Within the Interior Design major our facilities include a branch library, a gallery, computer labs, media center, a fully-equipped shop, photography laboratory, a fully wired studio space and classrooms.
