The Office of Admissions is looking for upper-class students (sophomores - juniors) with leadership experience to join our team. As a tour guide, you will host prospective students and families visiting campus, provide event support and highlight the amazing academic and campus life at UNL.
Hours: Employees can expect to work approximately 8 -15 hours/week
Tour guides must be available to work the following hours Monday through Friday.
There are also occasional Saturday and special event opportunities that tour guides will be asked to provide assistance.

Are you a task driven worker who likes to assist on fundamental projects? The Student Worker Position would assist the Events Management Team. The Events Management Team is responsible for creating, planning and implementing recruitment events for the Office of Admissions.
Responsibilities would include:• Prepping event materials for over 100 recruitment events• Assisting in final tasks in the days leading up to recruitment events• Packing event materials and assisting Event Coordinators• Work at events as needed and maintain strong customer service skills• Other duties as assigned
A valid driver’s license and background check would be required for this position.
Hours:Must be able to work approximately 10-15 hours/week and have some availability Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. for office shifts. Students will also provide support at events, which occasionally involve evening/weekend hours.
Do you have a desire to learn about event planning and management? The Events Intern position would have the opportunity to work directly with Events Management Team and learn the event planning process from beginning to end. Through this position you would also have the chance to gain some hands on event planning experience through our College Access Days and our ROTC Visit Day.
Responsibilities would include: • Researching modern ideas in the world of event planning to create an innovative event experience• Work at events as needed and maintain strong customer service skills• Plan and implement a recruitment event during the academic year• Meet weekly in group and one-on-one atmospheres with supervisor• Create and execute semester based learning objectives
The Nebraska College Preparatory Academy (NCPA) is a program that works with first-generation and low-income students and families from the Grand Island and North Omaha communities. NCPA is designed to work with these students and families throughout high school to ensure high school success, adequate college preparation, and admission into UNL or another college or university. The NCPA Summer Science Camp Resident Assistant will supervise NCPA scholars on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s campus.
Qualifications/Duties:• Positive role model skills• Excellent communication skills, honesty, and integrity• Participate in scheduled activities with scholars• Required overnight stay in University Housing• Responsible for transporting scholars with University vehicle • A valid driver’s license with less than 6 points deduction
Hours:• Varies. Cannot exceed 40 hours per week.

The Font Line in the Office of Admissions is an opportunity for you to learn many aspects about the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. You will also develop important contacts within the University.

The Office of Admissions is looking for qualified and enthusiastic sophomores through seniors who enjoy public speaking, are involved on campus and passionate about promoting UNL! Selected students will give one presentation 2-5 times per week on the topic of Student Life at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Students will receive a semester stipend ranging from $200 to $500 per semester depending upon the number of presentations given each week.

Work with the Sr. Assistant Director of Digital Marketing and the Electronic Communications Coordinator to implement and execute the Office of Admissions digital marketing strategies. This position will also work to ensure that the Admissions website meets current web accessibility requirements. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and, at minimum, a basic knowledge of HTML.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln Academic Services and Enrollment Management marketing team is seeking a talented student designer with a solid portfolio to assist in the creation of print and digital projects for undergraduate admissions.
The International Team Assistant will support the efforts of the Admissions staff in the recruitment of qualified prospective students to UNL and assist with the follow-up correspondence from international high school visits and college fairs.

Office of Admissions is looking for an Account Management Intern to work closely with the Marketing Director for the fall semester.
This position will be responsible for developing content for newsletters and flyers for Office of Admissions events, meeting with outside clients, assistance with proofing and editing communication, support for event marketing, upkeep of a competitive analysis, and traffic admissions publications.
An ideal candidate will have strong written communication skills, strong organization, prioritization, be a self-starter and some experience with basic Adobe Creative programs (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.).
