Foreign Language: 2 units
in one language


  • FLS 152 Elementary Spanish II (some students may need to take FLS 151 to prepare for FLS 152; FLS 152 is the course which will fulfill the UNL admissions deficiency).

Mathematics: 4 units
Algebra I
Geometry

Algebra II


A fourth year that builds on algebra

  • Algebra I: MAT 063 Elementary Algebra
  • Geometry: (Not Available) [Please contact UNL's Admissions office for your options]
  • Algebra II: MAT 102 Intermediate Algebra
  • Fourth Year Math (Course that builds on Algebra II): MAT 122 College Algebra OR MAT 128 Precalculus

Natural Sciences: 3 units
At least 2 from biology, chemistry, physics & earth sciences.
At least one lab

If you are deficient in a lab, you MUST take a science course that has a lab.

  • BIO 105 Intro Biology
  • BIO 112 General Biology I

Social Sciences: 3 units
One or 2 units history AND 1 or 2 units American government, geography or one other social science

  • ANT 100 Intro to Anthropology
  • GEO 115 Human Geography
  • HIS 110 West Civ to 1715
  • HIS 111 West Civ after 1715
  • SOC 110 Intro to Sociology

Note: Your UNL college will determine whether or not courses used to meet admission requirements can also apply toward your UNL degree requirements.
