Dallas Husker Welcome

The Dallas Husker Welcome is a special gathering for students admitted to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. This is your chance to meet your future classmates and imagine your life as a Husker—both on campus and after you graduate.
This event will be hosted at The Sports Club at Four Seasons Dallas by successful NEBRASKA alum Liz Abel.
Join us for appetizers and refreshments, networking with local alums, and a formal presentation from your NEBRASKA admissions representative to help you learn more about your next steps to becoming a Husker.
Admission to this event is free and family members are welcome. Attire for this event is business casual.

Liz graduated from NEBRASKA in 1981. She spent 30 years in the Information Technology industry, primarily in sales and sales management roles. She worked for industry leaders Including Avaya, Lucent Technologies, AT&T, Fujitsu Business Communication Systems, and NEC. Liz is experienced in developing and implementing sales, sales management, and marketing strategies for growth attainment. She excelled in using a consultative approach, combining teaming abilities, coaching, and leadership skills to run a $300M revenue line business while at her last senior position at Avaya in channel sales.
Liz left the corporate world in 2012 to help care for her elderly parents. It was then she decided to utilize her business leadership skillsets to consult with small to mid-size businesses looking for business and sales management expertise. She then opened her small consulting practice Abel Consulting & Coaching.
