PROGRAM DEFINITION
The general Business Administration major enables students to take a broad approach to their exposure in business. If the student has an educational goal that bridges two or more areas of business, the general business major allows an individualized program to achieve that goal.

• You will obtain a solid foundation in all aspects of business, including accounting, human resource management, finance, management, economics, and marketing.

• Internationally and nationally known scholars and business executives regularly visit the campus.
• Numerous exchange and study abroad programs are available, including Oxford University in England, Senshu University in Japan, and ITESM in Mexico. Students will have the opportunity to study in almost any country in the world.
• Internships and job placement counseling are provided.
FACILITIES
• Five state-of-the-art computer labs complete with networked printers, scanners, and digital cameras are available. The labs are designed for interactive, multifunctional instruction.
• Instructional technology is used in all 32 classrooms, including teaching consoles, LCD projectors, computers, and VCRs. Many classrooms have touch-sensitive white boards and control systems. The building is equipped with a complete wireless system for internet access. Walk-up e-mail and computing stations are available throughout the building.
• The E.J. Faulkner Writing Lab is designed to teach important communication skills needed to be successful in business. Labs are available for students to videotape class presentations.
PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS (What’s expected of you as an undergraduate student)
• Maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA to remain in good academic standing.
• Completion of all general and specific prerequisites.
• Students must have an interest in learning about all areas of business.
