PROGRAM DEFINITION
No matter where you make your home or what facet of business you enter, you will be operating in a global marketplace. Students in international business study the cultures and business practices of other nations and learn how international trade laws affect the world economy. They study the relationships that truly make our world a shrinking globe.

• The College of Business Administration is ranked as one of the best in the nation.
• Students can chose from among nineteen student organizations in which to participate.
• Students will obtain a solid foundation in all aspects of business, including accounting, personnel, finance, management, economics, and marketing.
• The faculty is nationally and internationally recognized for their publications and their vast hands-on experience.
• Internationally and nationally known scholars and business executives regularly visit the campus.
• Numerous exchange and study abroad programs are available, including Oxford University in England, Senshu University in Japan, and ITESM in Mexico. Students will have the opportunity to study in almost any country in the world.
• Internships and job placement counseling are available.
FACILITIES
• Five state-of-the-art computer labs complete with networked printers, scanners, and digital cameras are available. The labs are designed for interactive, multifunctional instruction.
• Instructional technology is used in all 32 classrooms, including teaching consoles, LCD projectors, computers, and VCRs. Many classrooms have touch-sensitive white boards and control systems. The building is equipped with a complete wireless system for internet access. Walk-up e-mail and computing stations are available throughout the building.
• The E.J. Faulkner Writing Lab is designed to teach important communication skills needed to be successful in business. Labs are available for students to videotape class presentations.
PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS (What’s expected of you as an undergraduate student)
• Maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA to remain in good academic standing in the college.
• Students must complete 6 hours of upper level foreign language.
• Students must complete a UNL sponsored study abroad experience.
• Students must be flexible and open-minded with an appreciation for other cultures.
