Military

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln welcomes veterans, active duty and military dependents. Nebraska is committed to meeting your needs as you transition to the University of Nebraska. Any individual who has served in the military is invited to use the transfer student application for admission. We welcome inquiries regarding admission and transfer credits issues well in advance of application. You're welcome to request to be added to our mailing list at any time.

All incoming students must meet UNL Admission requirements. Applicants must have completed the 16 high school core courses required for admission. Students who have completed a GED or are missing high school requirements, can move toward meeting admission requirements by enrolling in courses at post secondary schools. If you have earned college credit, you must have 2.0 cumulative GPA and a 2.0 in your last semester of attendance. Service members must submit a copy of their military transcript.
