Advance Credit Options

Nebraska offers several ways to apply the college credits you have already earned. National credit-by-exam programs include the Advanced Placement (AP) Program, International Baccalaureate, the College Level Examination Program (CLEP), DSST (formerly DANTES Subject Standardized Tests), and Cambridge International Exams (A-Levels).   1. Apply

    First things first—apply and get admitted. Already did that? Then move on to the next step. You’re well on your way to becoming Husker.

  2. Complete Your Scholarship Statement

    Don’t miss out on scholarships—submit a Scholarship Statement to be considered for Leadership, Service and Diversity Enhancement scholarships.

  3. Pay Your Enrollment Deposit

    Reserve your spot by paying or deferring a $250 enrollment deposit. Afterward, you’ll receive housing and New Student Enrollment information.

  4. File the FAFSA

    Applying for federal financial aid is the best way to help pay for college. The priority deadline to apply is June 1. Contact us if you need help.

  5. Submit Your Housing Contract

    After you pay your enrollment deposit, you’ll be able to complete your housing contract.

    NSE is a required orientation and course registration program that helps prepare you for your transition to college. Register early to get your pick of NSE dates.
