First-year students can apply through the Common Application or Nebraska's application.

Transfer, readmits, visiting and Intensive English Program (IEP) students should only apply through Nebraska's application.

Admission Requirements

Review the academic qualifications, core courses and transcripts needed to gain admission. You are not required to submit an ACT/SAT score to be considered for admission.

Advanced Credit Options

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln offers methods to maximize the college credit you’ve already earned. National credit-by-exam programs include the Advanced Placement (AP) Program, International Baccalaureate, the College Level Examination Program (CLEP), DSST (formerly DANTES Subject Standardized Tests), and Cambridge International Exams (A-Levels).
