| January 15 | First-year student Housing Application and Roommate Finder open in MyRED for deposited students. For those who pay or defer the enrollment deposit after this date, access is granted within 24 hours after payment or deferral. |
| February 1 | Deadline All application materials, including the supplemental Scholarship Application, must be submitted by this date to be considered for in-state scholarships and departmental, leadership and service scholarships. |

Scholarship award offers available for admitted students who applied by November 1. Offers may be viewed in the "Financial Aid" tab in MyRED after 5 p.m. CST. Note: If a student filed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Form by February 1, they will be reviewed for a comprehensive scholarship and financial aid offer on February 12. |

Rolling scholarship notifications and updates begin for those who applied for admission after November 1 (and by February 1, 2025, if in-state; May 1, 2025, if out-of-state). Students can view scholarships in the "Financial Aid" tab in MyRED any day after February 26. Note: If a student filed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Form by February 15, they will be reviewed for a comprehensive scholarship and financial aid offer. |

Priority Deadline First Housing priority deadline. Students submitting the Housing Application by April 1 will receive a room assignment notification on May 21. Students submitting the Housing Application by May 1 will receive a room assignment notification on May 21. Students who submit the Housing Application May 2 and beyond will be notified on a weekly basis throughout the remainder of the summer. |
