Join us and explore what the University of Nebraska–Lincoln has to offer. At Big Red Experience, you'll explore the campus alongside a current student, enjoy a meal in a dining center, discover opportunities for student involvement, and explore resources designed to help you succeed. Plus, you'll dive deep into your career interests during dedicated academic sessions.

Check-in

Check-in will begin in the Nebraska Union (1400 R St.) at 8:30 a.m. At check-in, we'll give you everything you'll need for your day ahead.

Welcome to Nebraska

Get a "big picture" introduction to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

9:30 a.m.

Campus Tour

Experience what life is like as a student at Nebraska. We'll walk the tour, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes.

11 a.m.

Academic Session 1

Choose from a variety of academic disciplines and learn more about your fields of interest in these breakout sessions hosted by our academic colleges and departments.

Information Fair

Meet students and staff from all academic colleges represented at Nebraska. Admissions staff are also available to help you navigate through the admission process while addressing any other questions you may have.

12:15 p.m.

Afternoon Preview (Lunch)

Enjoy an all-you-can-eat lunch at one of our on-campus dining centers. The cost of lunch will be covered in the $5 registration fee.
1:30 p.m.

Optional College Facility Tours

At the end of the day, additional tours will be provided by our colleges. Explore more in depth where future classes are held, as well as resources and support available.

Parking & Check-in

Parking is available at the Larson Building (1317 Q Street) and Que Place (1111 Q Street) parking garages. No need to pay—your parking will be validated before you leave.
