Group visits are specifically designed for high school students and transfer students.

A group visit at Nebraska includes:

  • Presentations on admission requirements and scholarship opportunities.
  • A tour of campus.

Additional Details

Start Time

Campus visits are offered Tuesday through Thursday beginning at 10 a.m. at the Nebraska Union (1400 R St.). We encourage your group to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled campus visit time.

We cannot guarantee a campus visit to groups that arrive more than 30 minutes late.

Chaperone

Due to liability, we require 1 chaperone for every 10 students in attendance. Each chaperone should be at least 19 years of age (preferably 21 years of age).

In the unlikely event that you need to cancel your visit, please contact our office 3 business days prior.

Welcome Presentation

Get a "big picture" introduction to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

10:30 a.m.

Campus Tour

Experience what life is like as a student at Nebraska. We'll walk the tour, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes.

12 p.m.

Optional Lunch

Enjoy lunch in one of our on-campus dining centers. Groups will be invoiced $6.25 per person.

Parking & Drop-off

Pick up a parking pass in the Alexander Building parking lot (1410 Q St.), located directly across the street from Arby's. Additional parking is available at the Larson Building parking garage (1317 Q St.). No need to pay—just bring your stub and we’ll validate your parking before you leave.

If you plan to provide bus transportation, please drop your students off at the Nebraska Union (1400 R St.). While there, we will supply you with a parking pass to leave your bus at Innovation Campus (2021 Transformation Dr.).
