Pre-Health at Nebraska

August 2 (Virtual) | October 11 (In-person)

Pre-Health at Nebraska

As a student interested in pursuing a career in health care, Pre-Health at Nebraska is the best way for you to discover the many opportunities that await you as a pre-health student at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, including undergraduate research, lab teaching assistant positions and pre-health student organizations. This year you’ll have the option to choose a virtual or in-person visit.

During these events, you'll learn why Nebraska's pre-health students are so successful. As part of this experience, you will explore each of the university's 16 different pre-health disciplines—from medicine, nursing and dentistry, to physical therapy, pharmacy and public health. By engaging with pre-health advisors and a panel of current students from a variety of fields, you'll leave the event feeling more confident about the future you want to pursue.

With more pre-health students graduating from Nebraska than any other school in the state, you're exactly where you need to be.

In-person space is limited. Registration will close when capacity is reached.

If you have any questions about this event, please contact Nebraska's Office of Admissions at 402-472-2023.

COVID-19 Event Information

In response to guidance from the CDC and the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health department, those who are fully vaccinated from COVID-19 are not required to wear face masks or socially distance—indoors or outdoors—on UNL campuses or in our facilities.

All students, faculty, staff and visitors who are not vaccinated are expected to continue to wear face masks and practice social distancing. If you have not yet been vaccinated, we strongly encourage you to do so. Vaccines are readily available locally through the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department and local pharmacies.

The Office of Admissions is committed to hosting prospective students in a variety of platforms. If an on-campus experience is not the right option for you, virtual experiences are available.
