Husker Saturday is an open house visit designed to help you experience the best of Nebraska in a short amount time while giving you a convenient weekend option. During your visit, you'll tour campus with a current Nebraska student as your guide, browse your academic interests, learn more about student involvement opportunities and discuss your next steps to Nebraska. Check out the sample schedule below for more details.

Students may bring two guests. Pre-registration is required.

Time Activity
9:30 a.m.

Check-in

Check-in will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Nebraska Student Union (1400 R St.). At check-in you will receive your parking validation and materials for the day.

10 a.m.

Welcome

Get a "big picture" introduction to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Learn why Nebraska and what next steps you need to take to become a Husker.

10:30 a.m.

Campus Tour

Explore campus with a current student as your guide, this tour includes viewing a traditional-style residence hall.

12 p.m.

Academic & Activities Fair

During this time, you will have the opportunity to meet with the academic colleges at Nebraska and representatives from various campus offices like Housing, Fraternity and Sorority Life, Campus Recreation and more.

12:15 p.m.

Optional Lunch

Enjoy lunch in one of our on-campus dining centers to end your day at Nebraska. Tickets will be provided at check-in.

Parking & Check-In

Parking is available at the Larson Building (1317 Q Street) and Que Place (1111 Q Street) parking garages. No need to pay—bring your stub and we will validate it before you leave.
