Husker Saturday is an open house visit designed to help you experience the best of Nebraska in a short amount time while giving you a convenient weekend option. During your visit, you'll tour campus with a current Nebraska student as your guide, browse your academic interests, learn more about student involvement opportunities and discuss your next steps to Nebraska. We offer two different session options. Check out the sample schedules below to get more details.

Students are allowed to bring two guests. Pre-registration is required. Sorry, we are unable to accept walk-ins. If you have any questions about this event, please contact the Nebraska Office of Admissions at 402-472-2023.

COVID-19 Event Information

As it has done throughout the pandemic, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln continues to follow the most recent guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department.

The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department no longer requires face masks in all indoor spaces. Face masks are now optional in all indoor spaces on the University of Nebraska–Lincoln campus in accordance with local guidance. Please note—we will inform you of any change in the current directed health measure in a final details email prior to the event.

The Office of Admissions is committed to hosting prospective students in a variety of platforms. If an on-campus experience is not the right option for you, virtual experiences are available. Join us for one of our recurring online Nebraska Information Sessions or request a 1-to-1 Appointment over phone or video conference.

Check-in

Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Nebraska Student Union (1400 R St.).

9 a.m.

Welcome

Get a "big picture" introduction to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

9:30 a.m.

Campus Tour

Experience what life is like as a student at Nebraska. We'll walk the tour, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes.

11 a.m.

Academic & Activities Fair

During this time, you will have the opportunity to meet with the academic colleges at Nebraska and representatives from various campus offices like Housing, Fraternity and Sorority Life and Education Abroad.

10:45 a.m.

Parking & Check-in

Parking is available at the Larson Building (1317 Q Street) and Que Place (1111 Q Street) parking garages. No need to pay—your parking will be validated before you leave.
