As a student interested in pursuing a career in healthcare, Pre-Health at Nebraska is the best way for you to discover the many opportunities that await you as a pre-health student at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, including undergraduate research, lab teaching assistant positions and pre-health student organizations.

During the event, you'll learn why pre-health students at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln are so successful and explore each of the university's pre-health pathways.

By engaging with pre-health advisors and a panel of current students from a variety of fields, you'll leave the event feeling more confident about the future you want to pursue. With more pre-health students graduating from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln than any other school in the state, you're exactly where you need to be.

Space is limited. Registration will close when capacity is reached.

Cost is $5 per person; refunds will not be available.

Welcome & Pre-Health at Nebraska Overview

Receive a high-level overview of the 19 pre-health pathways you can study at Nebraska. Understand what it means to be advised in the Explore Center as a pre-health student.

9:30 a.m.

Pre-Health Breakouts

Understand what pre-health pathway you want to study at Nebraska. Breakout sessions are:

  • Prerequisite-only programs
  • Bachelor's degree required/preferred
  • Pre-Nursing
10 a.m.

Campus Tour

Experience what life is like as a student at Nebraska. We'll walk the tour, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes.

11 a.m.

Lunch and Residence Hall Tours

Enjoy lunch in one of our on-campus dining centers. Following lunch, visit one of Nebraska's traditional-style residence halls to preview on-campus living.

12:30 p.m.

Student Panel

Hear from current pre-health Nebraska students about their life on campus and how the Explore Center is supporting their path.

Parking is available at the Larson Building (1317 Q Street) and Que Place (1111 Q Street) parking garages. No need to pay—your parking will be validated before you leave.
