Bring a Group to Tour Campus
On-Campus Group Visit Suspended
In response to the spread of COVID-19 we have decided to cancel all in-person group visits for the foreseeable future. When the situation is safe, we will re-open for in-person visits. Although we can't meet in person, we invite your student group to join us for a virtual group visit session. Virtual group sessions include a presentation on admissions requirements and scholarship opportunities and a campus overview session hosted by our student tour guides. Please contact Jean Colligan at email@example.com or 402-472-4887 to schedule a group visit.
Group Visit Information
Group visits are specifically designed for students in grades 6-12.*
A group visit at Nebraska includes:
- Presentations on admission requirements and scholarship opportunities.
- A tour of campus.
*For liability purposes, we are unable to offer campus visits to students under the 6th grade.
Apply for a College Visit Grant and your group visit could be absolutely FREE!
Campus visits are offered Tuesday through Thursday beginning at either 10 or 11:15 a.m. at the Van Brunt Visitors Center. We encourage your group to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled campus visit time.
We cannot guarantee a campus visit to groups that arrive more than 30 minutes late.
Lunch is offered to group visitors at a discounted rate of $4.05 per person. You will receive an invoice for $4.05 per person after your visit.
Through the College Visit Grant, you may qualify to be reimbursed for the cost of your group visit.
Due to liability, we require 1 chaperone for every 10 students in attendance. Each chaperone should be at least 19 years of age (preferably 21 years of age).
In the unlikely event that you need to cancel your visit, please contact our office 3 business days prior.
Groups that order lunch will be responsible for lunch costs if they do not cancel their visit day 3 business days prior.
