Experience what life is like as a student at Nebraska. During Red Letter Day, you'll tour campus with a current student, eat lunch in a dining center, learn about student engagement opportunities and resources for success and delve into your career path during academic sessions. You'll also tour one of our residence halls and learn more about on-campus housing.

Registration Encouraged

Because Red Letter Days fill up quickly, we encourage you to reserve your spot early. Walk-in registration is open on a space-available basis the day of the event.

Your pre-registration will allow us to prepare for your visit, ensuring the best possible campus experience.

Program Fee: $5 per person. Program fees are nonrefundable.

Note: School groups cannot be accommodated at Red Letter Day. View group visit opportunities.

Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Nebraska Student Union (1400 R St.). At check-in, we'll validate your parking and give you the necessary materials for your day.

Get a "big picture" introduction to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

Campus Tour

Experience what life is like as a student at Nebraska. We'll walk the tour, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes.

Academic Session 1

Learn more about your fields of interest in breakout sessions hosted by academic colleges and departments.

Lunch and Residence Hall Tour

Enjoy lunch in one of our on-campus dining centers—the cost will be covered in your $5 registration fee. Following lunch, visit one of Nebraska's traditional-style residence halls to preview on-campus living.

Attend an interactive student engagement session to learn more about Fraternity and Sorority Life, Honors Programs, Learning Communities and more.

Parking & Check-In

Parking can be found at the Larson or Que Place parking garages. No need to pay—bring your stub and we will validate it before you leave.
