Husker Weekdays

Husker Weekdays

Experience life at Nebraska

Event Details

Individual Visit | Half Day | Most Weekdays

Experience for yourself what life is like as a student at Nebraska. Husker Weekdays are free campus visit opportunities held daily. During your visit, you’ll explore campus with a current Nebraska student as your guide, tour a residence hall and learn more about student involvement opportunities. You’ll also get the chance to discuss important admission, scholarship and financial aid information with Nebraska Office of Admissions staff.

Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to attend an academic appointment with a representative from your academic interest area. Discuss, ask questions and learn more about the many academic resources and opportunities available to you at Nebraska.

To support health and safety, we cannot guarantee on-campus academic appointments, but you can check availability when you register. If you're unable to connect with a representative from your area of study, we encourage you to register for a virtual 1-to-1 appointment.

Registration

Because Husker Weekdays fill up quickly, we encourage you to reserve your spot early. We also ask that each student brings only one guest. Reservations are required for this event. Please reserve your spot before booking travel arrangements.

If you have any questions about this event or would prefer to register over the phone, please contact the Van Brunt Visitors Center at 402-472-4887.

COVID-19 Event Information

In response to guidance from the CDC and the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health department, those who are fully vaccinated from COVID-19 are not required to wear face masks or socially distance—indoors or outdoors—on UNL campuses or in our facilities.

All students, faculty, staff and visitors who are not vaccinated are expected to continue to wear face masks and practice social distancing. If you have not yet been vaccinated, we strongly encourage you to do so. Vaccines are readily available locally through the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department and local pharmacies.

The Office of Admissions is committed to hosting prospective students in a variety of platforms. If an on-campus experience is not the right option for you, virtual experiences are available. Join us for one of our recurring online info sessions or for a 1-to-1 phone or video conference appointment. Click the button below to learn more and register.
