Welcome to Nebraska
During this "big picture" welcome to the university, you will learn why Nebraska is a great place to start your future and what steps you need to take to apply, earn scholarships and gain federal aid.
Do you know what you want to do after college, but have no idea what to major in or what classes to take? You will learn how the academic colleges will support your career community. Using Career Services' Career Communities students can attend two college sessions that are represented with those communities. Not quite sure which community or session is right for you? No worries, admissions staff will be available to direct you on the event day.
During this time, you will have the opportunity to pick from different experiential sessions. Learn how Global Experiences, Learning Communities, the University Honors Program and Career Services can add experiences to your time at Nebraska and elevate you into your career.
The university has deep roots with many employers in the area as well as in the Midwest. During the employer panel, hear from current employers on what internships/jobs/careers they offer and why they continuously partner with the university to recruit top talent to their industries.
Lunch & Housing Tour

End the day by going on a tour of campus. Experience what life is like as a student at Nebraska. Walking will be involved during the campus tour, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes.
