Join us on campus to see how the experiences and people you meet at Nebraska will be a springboard to your future career! Register for Career Pathways at Nebraska on Friday, March 31 or Monday, April 24—an exclusive visit opportunity for high school juniors.

During your visit, you'll learn more about unique opportunities Nebraska offers that will help you succeed in your chosen field like career communities, student support, research projects and global experiences. Hear from real employers about why they hire Nebraska graduates. You'll end the day with a campus tour led by a current student!

Register by March 22 for the March 31 event and by April 17 for the April 24 event.

Event Schedule

Time Activity
8:30 a.m.

Check-in

Check-in will begin in the Nebraska Union (1400 R St.) at 8:30 a.m. At check-in, we'll give you everything you'll need for your day ahead.

9 a.m.

Welcome to Nebraska

During this "big picture" welcome to the university, you will learn why Nebraska is a great place to start your future and what steps you need to take to apply, earn scholarships and gain federal aid.

9:30 a.m.

Career Communities

Do you know what you want to do after college, but have no idea what to major in or what classes to take? You will learn how the academic colleges will support your career community. Using Career Services' Career Communities students can attend two college sessions that are represented with those communities. Not quite sure which community or session is right for you? No worries, admissions staff will be available to direct you on the event day.

10:30 a.m.

Experiential Opportunities

During this time, you will have the opportunity to pick from different experiential sessions. Learn how Global Experiences, Learning Communities, the University Honors Program and Career Services can add experiences to your time at Nebraska and elevate you into your career.

11:30 a.m.

Employer Panel

The university has deep roots with many employers in the area as well as in the Midwest. During the employer panel, hear from current employers on what internships/jobs/careers they offer and why they continuously partner with the university to recruit top talent to their industries.

12 p.m.

Lunch & Housing Tour

Enjoy lunch in one of our on-campus dining halls—the cost will be covered by your $5 registration fee. During lunch will also give a tour of our traditional or suite style residence halls.

1:30 p.m.

Campus Tour

End the day by going on a tour of campus. Experience what life is like as a student at Nebraska. Walking will be involved during the campus tour, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes.

Parking & Check-in

Parking is available at the Larson Building (1317 Q Street) and Que Place (1111 Q Street) parking garages. No need to pay—your parking will be validated before you leave.
