Schedule

Time	Activity
8:15 a.m.	Check-in & Browsing Fair Check-in will be at Hawks Hall (730 N. 14th Street). Start your day by meeting other attendees and exploring information tables featuring student organizations, academic programs and campus resources.
9 a.m.	Welcome and Keynote \| Hawks Hall Atrium Kick off the day with opening remarks from Cathy Lang, Senior Advisor of Economic Development to the University of Nebraska System's President, and an inspiring keynote from Samuel DeZube, Nebraska alumnus and Chief of Staff at Workshop.
10 a.m.	Breakout Sessions (choose one): In Agency \| Andersen Hall Discover the fast-paced world of advertising and PR with College of Journalism and Mass Communications faculty, where students tackle real client projects. Engineering a Career in Tech at Hudl \| Hawks Hall Join Hudl to learn how software engineers design solutions and shape the tech industry. Entrepreneurship Accelerator \| Hawks Hall Explore the startup journey with Professor Lindsay Thomsen and the Center for Entrepreneurship, from ideas to launch.
11:10 a.m.	Breakout Sessions (choose one): Exploring Emerging Media \| Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts Go behind the scenes with Megan Elliott, Founding Director of the Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts, to explore some of Nebraska’s most innovative facilities. Husker Venture Fund \| Hawks Hall Hear from current students about investing in student-led startups and supporting innovation at Nebraska. Bridging the Gap \| Hawks Hall Learn from Jess Revell, Bridge Engineer at JEO Consulting, about how calculated designs support roadway systems.
12 p.m.	Lunch
1 p.m.	Student Project Showcase \| Hawks Hall Meet student entrepreneurs and innovators from across campus as they share their businesses, projects and creative work. Parent Panel \| Hawks Hall Hear from the Husker community in a combined session featuring a welcome from Dean Kathy Farrell, a parent panel moderated by Nebraska Business Honors Academy Director Erin Burnette and insights from faculty members Sam Nelson, Jen Landis, Frauke Hachtmann and Eric Marvicka on how they empower students to innovate and succeed.
2 p.m.	Optional Tours or Meetings Wrap up the day with additional campus tours or individual meetings tailored to your interests.

Parking & Check-In

Parking is available at the Larson Building (1317 Q Street) and Que Place (1111 Q Street) parking garages. Parking is free for the first hour. Subsequent hours will be charged at a rate of $1.50 per hour.

Please note it's about a 10-minute walk to Howard L. Hawks Hall from the parking garages.
