Teaching at Nebraska

February 6, 2026

A student teacher giving a child a high-five in an elementary classroom

At the Teaching at Nebraska event, you'll get a chance to meet other future educators who share your passion for inspiring young learners. You'll also attend informational sessions on current trends in education and connect with Nebraska students and faculty.

Nebraska's College of Education and Human Sciences is committed to enhancing lives while creating student experiences that lead to a meaningful career. We offer a variety of programs to prepare educators to teach students of all ages, from early childhood through high school. Gain teaching expertise through a nationally recognized curriculum and learn through hands-on opportunities, such as practicums and student teaching.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln offers more subject area specializations than any other post-secondary institution in the state. These specializations allow us to provide teaching endorsements in elementary, middle level or secondary education.
